We hired Tru-Line to refinish our hardwood floors, 3 rooms and a hallway. Mike and Walter did a fantastic job. They are very professional and take pride in the work they do. We could not be happier with the outcome.

As a stubborn do-it-yourselfer I hate the idea of hiring someone to work on our house. With that said my wife's and my experience with Tru-Line was everything you could hope for when inviting a contractor into your home. I am thrilled with how beautiful my hardwood floors now look! The folks from Tru-Line took my very old, beat up, and stained hardwood floors and made them look like new. Dan and his wife Tricia were a delight to work with. My home is almost 100 years old and I wanted to match the existing flooring with an upcoming renovation. Although Dan came to my home with a sample and then even tried several stains on some milled wood we couldn't find something that would work. I didn't end up using Tru-Line's services, but I just can't say enough about how responsive, kind and professional they both were to me. I hope I get an opportunity to work with them someday.

I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful refinished hardwood floors, new stairs and railings. Dan and his crew @ Tru-Line made the process so easy. My original hardwood floors were 18+ years old, and had survived 2 boys, and 4 dogs. My stair case and railing were original to the house from 1977, and desperately needed to be updated. Dan and his crew were able to match the stain, to be cohesive with the second floor's hardwoods. Ed was able to create the most perfect staircase, treads and my vision for a new railing came to life. Supporting staff were a pleasure to meet. They were professional, prompt, courteous and just a pleasure to have in the house. They arrived on time, as scheduled. Their personal demeaner, respectful nature, and professional work ethic, exceeded my expectations. They were responsive, offered suggestions, and solutions to my unique situation. Dream Team. Tru-Line Hardwood Flooring is an exceptional company, and what makes them exceptional is their people. Dan, the owner, is personable and professional and he wants his costumers to be 100% satisfied with the end product. Mike and Nick, who do the refinishing work, are highly skilled and concentrate on even the smallest detail.

About the job itself, we have a 32 year old home with oak floors in the kitchen, dining area and front hallway. The job presented a number of challenges because of some very poor work by a previous contractor. The kitchen and dining area required a lot of sanding due to flaws the previous contractor left unresolved or was responsible for himself. When Mike and Nick were done, the floors were absolutely flat with all flaws corrected. The hallway, which gets much less traffic, didn't appear to need any sanding, so we and Dan decided to apply just a final finish coat there.

When the third and last coat of semi-gloss polyurethane had been applied, more poor sanding in the hallway by the previous contractor became apparent. We discussed this with Dan and we agreed that an additional coat would mitigate the problem. I asked Dan for a quote for a fourth coat of polyurethane, a semi-gloss and high gloss mix, on the entire job. His quote was unbelievably reasonable and I hesitate to even mention it here. Long story short, the end result was great - the floors looked better than they did when new! Dan called that night, and again three days later, to ask if we were happy with the job. He said he wanted us to be 100% happy with the job, and he meant it.

I'll close this review by saying that the owner and employees of Tru-Line Hardwood Flooring are great people to do business with, and their work is outstanding. If your hardwood floors need work, don't hesitate to give Dan a call.

We needed our red oak floors refinished after 40 yrs of use. I asked the recommendation of a contractor buddy, and he suggested Tru-Line. I had also tried to contact another refinisher, but hadn’t heard back. Dan got right back to me and set up an appt to visit and give us a quote which we accepted. We arranged for them to do it while we were in Maine and when we returned our floors looked like new. If you want prompt top quality service you can’t go wrong with Tru-Line! The other refinisher finally got back to us after Tru-Line had already done the job.

Walt and Nick are excellent. Not only were they very professional, they were also very personable, explained every process, answered all questions we had. They maintained a very clean work environment. My wife and I could not be more happier with the final finish and the floors have never looked so good. All the blemishes, discoloration, small hole are all gone. The floor looks better than we ever. I would highly recommend True-Line Flooring to anyone without hesitation. Thank you.
